We are looking for a new Product Manager Western Europe to join our team!
As Product Manager for Western Europe, you’ll play a key role in developing, implementing, and optimizing our transport products and solutions across the region — with a primary focus on Belgium, the Netherlands, France, and Spain.
In this role, you’ll manage the full product lifecycle – from idea to execution – while continuously identifying ways to improve performance and deliver added value. Your goal is to ensure that customer needs, operational capabilities, and commercial goals are aligned to deliver efficient, scalable, and cost-effective transport services. You’ll also act as a key link between commercial, operational, and strategic stakeholders, driving performance and long-term value.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Product Ownership & Strategy:
- Ownership of the product in close collaboration with Business Unit Manager
- Align product development with customer needs, operational collaboration and business objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in transport solutions.
Commercial Responsibilities
- Tailor transport solutions for both potential and existing customers.
- Lead the implementation of new, large-scale customer solutions in collaboration with operational teams.
- Act as the primary commercial contact for General Managers and Site Managers in the region.
- Optimize trailer flows and overall transport cost structures
- Set customer pricing in collaboration with the Business Unit Manager
Operational Coordination & Cost Control
- Oversee haulage cost structures and identify opportunities for cost savings
- Set performance expectations for the operational team to support product and cost targets
- Decide on production modes that balance service levels and cost-effciency
The role includes occasional travel within Europe.
YOUR PROFILE
You have a background in logistics, business or supply chain - either through a relevant degree or professional experience - and a solid track record in transport and product management. You have at least five years of industry experience and a good understanding of transport operations, cost structures, and customer solution desing.
The role requires proven experience in leading cross-functional initiatives and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders. Strong communication, negotiation and analytical skills are essential to effectively support decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
