NTEX is a Swedish transport and logistics company that offers road transport across Europe as well as global sea and air freight. We are about 1100 employees across Europe and a turnover of 4 billion SEK. NTEX has its headquarters in Gothenburg, as well as offices in 13 European countries. 

We are looking for a Group Financial Controller to join our Finance team. In this role, you will be part of a team to consolidate financial data from all subsidiaries, prepare group-level financial statements, ensure compliance, and regulatory standards. You will also manage internal reporting, support budgeting and forecasting, and collaborate with finance teams across the group. Collaboration will be a big part of your day-to-day work — you’ll work closely with finance teams across subsidiaries to gather and validate financial data, while also acting as an advisor for group-level inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES 

Consolidation of Financial Statements: Compile, consolidate, and analyze financial data from all subsidiaries and business entities, ensuring proper elimination of inter-company transactions and balances.

Statutory & Regulatory Reporting: Prepare and submit consolidated financial statements in compliance with IFRS/K3/GAAP, and serve as the main contact for external auditors during annual audits and reviews. Prepare group income tax reporting process including tax events such as CBC and Pillar 2 .

Compliance & Internal Controls: Develop, maintain, and enforce internal financial policies and internal controls, and monitor changes in accounting standards and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.

Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with finance teams across subsidiaries to ensure accurate and timely data collection, and act as a key contact for internal and external financial inquiries.

YOUR PROFILE

You have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field and at least five years of experience in financial reporting, consolidation, or group accounting — ideally with hands-on experience in managing group-level consolidations. You feel at home working with IFRS, GAAP, and other relevant accounting standards, and you are comfortable navigating consolidation software and modern ERP systems. You also have experience in internal control work processes and good knowledge about corporate tax. 

To succeed in this role, you need to have an analytical mindset, you are curious and eager to contribute to continuous improvements. You have good communications skill, fluency in English is essential and it’s a bonus if you speak additional languages. You enjoy working with details but never lose sight of the bigger picture. You enjoy collaborating and have a positive outlook.
